Season Blessings is the most concerned by players; this guide will explain its functions and what they mean regarding your character progression.

What are the Season Blessings?

Season Blessings are urns that provide additional buffs to your characters. They can be leveled up using Smoldering Ashes, which you can obtain from the Battle Pass Tier Rewards. The effects of the Season Blessings are applied to all of your characters in the Seasonal Realm to help you boost their progress as you level through the Battle Pass.

How many kinds of urns are in Diablo 4?

  • Urn of Aggression: Increases XP earned from monster kills (+3% per rank)
  • Urn of Bargaining: Increases gold earned from vendor sales (+5% per rank)
  • Urn of Reclamation: Increases the chance of rare materials from salvage (+10% per rank)
  • Urn of Prolonging: Increases the duration of elixirs (+15% per rank)
  • Urn of Malignance: Increases the chance of getting Malignant Heart drops (+5% per rank) — note that Hearts will only drop after you finish the campaign

How to Level Up Season Blessings

Collect Smoldering Ashes

Season Blessings can be purchased with Smoldering Ashes, obtained on the Battle Pass. You can earn and collect Smoldering Ashes from the Battle Pass Tier Rewards to level up your preferred Blessing for the season. Level up your Battle Pass Tiers by completing Season Journeys, killing monsters, and participating in events. The first Smoldering Ash unlocks once a Seasonal Character hits level 40. After that, the remaining Smoldering Ashes become usable at irregular intervals up to Level 100.

There are a total of 20 Smoldering Ashes available on the Battle Pass at the following tiers and levels:

  • Tier 8: Smoldering Ashes (requires level 40)
  • Tier 18: Smoldering Ashes (requires level 53)
  • Tier 22: Smoldering Ashes (requires level 56)
  • Tier 28: Smoldering Ashes (requires level 62)
  • Tier 32: Smoldering Ashes (requires level 66)
  • Tier 38: Smoldering Ashes (requires level 71)
  • Tier 48: Two Smoldering Ashes (requires level 78)
  • Tier 52: Smoldering Ashes (requires level 80)
